Animal/Aviaries

Ashley Park provides a large fun and friendly animal park for all ages.

Birds
With extensive aviaries, we have a range of birds including parrots, pheasants, love birds, finches and other well known and rare breeds. You can also feed the wandering uncaged birds, including pigeons, fowl, ducks, guinea fowl and peacocks.

Farm Animals
Following our gentle farm walks you can visit our farm animals including sheep, highland cattle, deer, donkeys, goats, pigs and ponies.

Other Animals
Ashley Park also has alpaca, emu, ostriches, kune kune pigs for you to see close up.

Feed The Animals
Most of our birds and animals are able to be hand fed with food that can be purchased from the office. Please enquire for more details.

All aviaries and animal pens are within 400 metres of the main homestead on well marked paths.
